John Marfoglia & Michael Merisola have over 60 years of combined experience in the antique industry.

John Marfoglia has been dealing in Antiques for the past 25 years, operating his brick and mortar store Queen City Antiques in Buffalo, New York. He has done antique shows in New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. He also does live TV appraisals on PBS ‘s Antique Home Show.

 

John has a broad knowledge of all periods of antiques, decorative arts, paintings, silver, jewelry, and so much more. He felt the natural progression in his antique career was to start HIP Auctions with his business partner, Michael Merisola.

 

Michael Merisola opened his first store in 1987. He has dealt in modernist design since it’s inception by supplying dealers & decorators all over the world. Michael has a keen eye for design and quality that has made his mark a standard in Western New York. His business has now spread to supplying movies and set decorators with the perfect pieces they're looking for.

 

Michael owns Coo Coo U, a 20,000 square-foot warehouse & shop located at 111 Tonawanda St., Buffalo, NY he has been partnering with John Marfoglia since the beginning of their careers.
